Happy Whyday!

Happy Whyday everyone! I’m proud to announce something that we’ve been working hard on for the last few months: Hackety Hack 1.0-pre.

So what’s up with that little ‘-pre’?

Well, the original release date we’d set for Hackety Hack was at the end of the summer. But then Whyday was announced, and so we decided to try and get 1.0 out the door by then.

We didn’t exactly hit that goal, but we came close. All of the major features are in place, but there are still a few corner cases and bugs we have yet to work out. But, it is Whyday, and we want to share Hackety Hack with you now. Please help us find and squash those last few bugs!

Lots of people worked really hard to bring this to you. Fela has been doing an oustanding job all summer, and Ashbb, wilkie, cecil, i5m, and everyone else on the Shoes team has worked hard to bring Shoes 3 Policeman to release. That’s also out today, and you can download Shoes 3 here. Thanks so much, guys!

What’s new

There’s bunches of new stuff in this release of Hackety: Lessons are back! Try Ruby is longer! There’s a brand new website! We have a forum!
